Mainguard Clonmel
Welcome

Clonmel/Cahir is Tipperary’s southernmost district. With a population of over 37,000 people and access to a highly skilled workforce, the municipal district of Clonmel/Cahir is home to a host of multinational organizations, which benefit from its global and local access.

This district is at the epicentre of the Irish food sector,
with local producers ABP, C&C, Glenpatrick and Merrys headquartered here. With the development of FDI facilities such as Questum and the Ballingarrane Science and Technology Park, it is also home to a thriving life science
and technology base. Questum houses some innovative high-potential startups (HPSU), which highlight Tipperary’s business diversity. Included in these startups (which span the industrial IT, data management/analytics, pharma/ medical and healthcare sectors) are One Box Vision, VisionID, Covectra and COMITASS.

The district also has enhanced civic and cultural education and training offerings; such as with the planned development of the Kickham Barracks complex.
